Plastering questions
Can you plaster over Artex?
Yes. Artex and other textured walls and ceilings can usually be re-skimmed to a smooth finish. Paul will check the surface when he comes to quote.
How soon can I paint new plaster?
Give it at least a week, and longer in cold or damp weather. Fresh plaster is ready when it has turned an even, light colour all over. Our plaster drying guide explains how to check and how to mist coat it.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. We plaster everything from a single re-skimmed wall or patch repair to whole houses and large commercial projects.
Do you work for builders and developers?
Yes. A lot of our work comes from local builders, developers and contractors, on new builds, extensions, renovations and commercial fit-outs.
